About Wild Tales

Wild Tales is a collection of stories and artwork about wild animals in Mi’kma’ki and the Maritimes, otherwise known as Atlantic Canada. This is an inclusive, community-based project that aims to connect people to wildlife through the sharing of scientific and cultural knowledge. This project brings together people from all walks of life, encouraging them to share their experiences using different forms of creative expression. Our mission is to foster connections and demonstrate that conservation is not the burden of a single group, but rather a collaborative effort to protect wild animals and the spaces we share with them. We hope that these Wild Tales will inspire you to take action to protect the biodiversity in our backyard!
